Simple to program, the device''s start-up and discharge rates are set using an external capacitor and external resistor, respectively. The load switch also provides an open-drain ''power-good'' output flag to signal target output voltage has been achieved.
The AP22800 is designed to operate from 1.5V to 5V, giving it the flexibility to support 1.8V, 2.5V, 3.3V and 5V system rails. Its quiescent current is also low at 21μA, making it well-suited for cell-backed distributed power systems, where power conservation is vital.
