Description

PI4IOE5V6416AQ is a 16-bit bidirectional voltage-level translation general-purpose I/O (GPIO) expander. It is automotive-compliant AEC-Q100 Grade 2 qualified device with dual voltage rail provide enhanced programmable I/O for next-generation low voltage microprocessors and microcontrollers via the I2C interface that provides remote I/O expansion for most microcontroller families via the I2C-bus interface.

Feature(s)

  • Operation power supply voltage from 1.65V to 5.5V
  • Allows bidirectional voltage-level translation and GPIO expansion between:
    • 1.8/2.5/3.3/5V SCL/SDA and 1.8/2.5/3.3/5V Port
  • Low standby current consumption:
    • 1.5μA typical at 5V VDD
    • 1μA typical at 3.3V VDD
  • Ultralow leakage current during power off
  • 400kHz I2C-bus interface
  • Compliant with the I2C-bus Fast and Standard modes
  • Programmable Push-pull/Open-drain output stages
  • Programmable output drive strength and pull-up/down resistor
  • Power-on reset
  • Active LOW open-drain interrupt output
  • Active LOW reset input
  • Latch-up tested (exceeds 100mA)
