Description

The a AL1782, a dual-channel dimmable Linear LED driver with PWM dimming control, is targeted for 2-Channel tunable Smart Connected Lighting (SCL) applications. It serves as the LED driving element along with AC-DC Power Conversion Block and Intelligent wireless MCU as an emerging connected lighting applications.

Feature(s)

  • Input Voltage Range: 6.5V to 30V
  • Independent PWM dimming control for each channel
  • Adjustable Reference Current by external reference resistors
  • LED Current Accuracy ≤ ±4%
  • Maximum LED current 1500mA for AL1781 and 750mA Per channel for AL1782
  • Adaptive Thermal Management (ATM) scheme to minimize power dissipation
  • High Frequency E-flicker free PWM dimming
  • Internal Protections:
    • Undervoltage Lockout (UVLO);
    • LED string open/short protection;
    • Over-temperature protection (OTP): Thermal shutdown and auto thermal recovery
  • Fault Reports: UVLO, OTP, LED Open/Short

Application(s)

  • 2-Channel Tunable White SCL Bulbs
  • Multiple-Channel of SCL Bulbs
  • Smart Connected LED Tubes, Panel Lights, Troffers, and Ceiling Lights
