Description

The APX803L is brand new micro-power voltage detector series Diodes Inc. develops with target to be used for microprocessor (µP) supervisory circuits to monitor the power supplies in µP and digital systems. It provides wide range of detection voltage level ranging from 1.2V to 5.0V with 0.1V per step options fixed internally from circuit design. As to supply current, APX803L series requires low supply current level of 1µA(typical) which gives no burden to power efficiency on systems requiring detection functions, such as smart phone, battery-powered devices, Internet of Things and so on.

How do I choose the correct feature and part number in the MPS family?

Is there a replacement for an obsolete part?

Not all obsolete parts will have a direct replacement. However, we recommended that you contact your regional sales office.

What are the types of jitter?

There are several types of jitter, but the main ones are: cycle-to-cycle jitter, period jitter, half period jitter, and peak-to-peak jitter. Jitter terminology can be found in AB36: Jitter Measurement Techniques at Application Brief No. 36 or Application Note No. 27.

What are the types of reset output?

There are two types of reset output: push-pull and open-drain as different applications require. If you choose open-drain reset output, pull-up resistor should be added in application circuit. For detailed information, please refer to datasheets or application notes.

What is the lead finish for Pericom products? What about lead-free?

All Pericom's products that are not lead-free are composed of 85% Sn and 15% Pb. For lead-free products, they are composed of 100% matte Sn. Lead-free products are marked and ordered with the letter "E" suffix at the end of the part number.
