Product has passed the rigorous AECQ reliability standards, and is capable of meeting automotive reliability requirements. AECQ is defined by the Automotive Electronics Council as a "Stress Test for Qualification for Integrated Circuits or Discrete Semiconductors."
Product with a Q suffix that has passed the rigorous AECQ reliability standard AND can be supplied on request with a PPAP. Q-parts are fully supported for Automotive customers via PPAP and TS16949-approved manufacturing sites.
A PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) is a set of documents provided by suppliers providing detailed testing, quality and reliability information for Automotive Grade devices.
The TS16949 certification is a technical specification that applies to the design/development, production and servicing of automotive-related products. It is based on ISO 9001.
