Business Development Manager - Milpitas, CA

 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Find business opportunities and secure design in and design wins through working with regional field team; collaborate closely with BU marketing, system, AE, design teams, and internal and external sales and FAE teams
  • Promote and message Diodes analog group products and solutions, participate in public events and serve as spokesperson, drive a strong online presence and field/customer engagements through online communication with collaterals, application notes, and reference designs 
  • Identify emerging applications, participate in early engagement with customers, facilitate new product roadmap establishment and customer validation as well as understand market trends and competition landscape to come up with the best go-to-market plan for broad markets and cross sell to gain market share
  • Facilitate new product releases and campaigns through marketing collaterals working with Marcom team; initiate new product requests to product line team based on customer and field requests, and follow up on the project management
  • Make analytical decisions on product pricing strategy, through revenue and POS data and market response; involve the planning strategy for critical cases

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 

  • Master's degree in electrical engineering with 15 years work experience in global semiconductors companies in sales and marketing
  • Proven experience in driving design in efforts with customers in consumer, computer, telecommunication, automotive and industrial for semiconductor products
  • Demonstrated cross-functional communication and relationship building skills
  • Travel time is about 25%
  • Bilingual (Chinese) is preferred
