The AZ9431BQ series are three-terminal adjustable shunt regulators with guaranteed thermal stability over a full operation range. These ICs feature sharp turn-on characteristics, low temperature coefficient and low output impedance, which makes them ideal substitutes for Zener diodes in automotive and high reliability applications requiring an improvement in zener performance.
The output voltage can be set to any value between 1.24V and 18V with two external resistors.
The AZ9431BQ precision reference is offered in two voltage tolerances: 1.0% respectively.
The AZ9431BQ are available SOT23 and have been qualified to AEC-Q100 Grade 1 and are Automotive-Compliant supporting PPAP documentation.

It includes industry standard TL431 and TL432 equivalents, as well as footprint compatible, very low minimum (knee) current for latest low standby power isolated power supplies. Additionally, it includes a well enhanced operating voltage range TLV431 (1.24V) equivalents. All of the 2.5V and 1.24V support operating temperatures up to 125°C as standard, therefore reducing the number of variants that need to be qualified and stocked.
Automotive-compliant variants are available which are qualified to AEC-Q100 Grade 1 in IATF 16949 facilities supporting PPAP documentation.
