Senior Corporate Accountant

The Role

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:   

    • Coordinate the timely completion of monthly, quarterly, and year-end consolidation processes, including intercompany reconciliation and eliminations
    • Assist in the quarterly and annual regulatory filing process
    • Prepare accounting entries for corporate transactions  
    • Perform consolidated balance sheet, income statement, equity, and cash flow account analysis
    • Assist with supplemental analysis and own specific schedules, as required
    • Assist in maintaining the consolidation hierarchy structure; ensuring data accuracy and completeness in applicable system
    • Review lease contracts and ASC-842 checklist submitted from entities. Ensure the completeness and accuracy of contracts in AMTdirect system and Monthly Reporting Package. Maintain strong internal controls around lease accounting processes  
    • Serve as a key resource for special projects with the consolidation group
    • Collaborate with the global accounting and finance groups to obtain key information relevant to the consolidation processes and analysis
    • Lead initiatives related to ICFR, SOX Compliance, Internal Controls, and Key Reports on behalf of global accounting team and work closely with Internal & External Audit
    • Undertake special projects as needed

 

The Requirements
  

    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance
    • 5+ years related experience; public accounting experience is a plus
    • Experience with consolidation/multi-entity accounting or in external audit of consolidated groups
    • Proficient in intercompany accounting practices
    • Detail oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills
    • Proven track record of driving results and taking initiative
    • An attitude of continuous improvement
    • Strong interpersonal relationship and effective communication skills
    • Strong systems skills & process oriented
    • Experience with ICFR, SOX Compliance, COSO Framework, and related processes
    • Bilingual – English & Mandarin, preferred not required

  

Preferred Experience

    • CPA or CPA candidate is preferred
    • Prior public accounting work experience is a plus
    • Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Oracle ERP, Cognos Controller, TM1, Sharepoint
