Sales Manager - Japan

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage pre-sales and post-sales activity between company and Japanese customers
  • Able to identify and resolve both customer and internal problems such as delivery, quality, etc.
  • Order management with channel partners
  • Customer part registration and qualification documents to support local FAE & QA team
  • Excellent response time to the team and customers

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Must have 20+ years’ experience in the semiconductor industry among supplier or channel partners
  • Residence in Japan
  • Fluent in Japanese
  • Fluent in English (Chinese is a plus)
  • Discrete and Standard Linear products knowledge
  • DIODESTM solution knowledge preferred
  • Key relationship with Japanese customers preferred
  • Automotive application support experience preferred
  • Domestic and overseas trip acceptance (pending COVID-19 travel restrictions)
  • Quick response time to resolving outstanding issues
  • Must work well in a team environment
  • Ability to work from home when needed (pending COVID-19 restrictions)
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Non-sales experience such as product marketing, QA, factory operation, etc. is a plus
