Marketing Specialist - Plano, TX

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Leads, promotes, and supports all aspects of go-live function for the product release process by gathering, maintaining, and communicating product information to support the company’s website and global distributors
  • On a daily basis, adds & maintains product information on the company’s website. Advises on and implements front end and back end website enhancements to improve content presentation
  • Works closely with internal departments including pricing, distribution, sales, marketing, and business units to ensure schedules are adhered to; that product release information including new product announcements, product images, datasheets & pricing are developed in alignment with and communicated to distributors; ensure that stock is available; that promotional material appears on the company’s website, and that distributor microsites are strategically and creatively optimized
  • In collaboration with company’s sales, distribution, and marketing leadership, recommends, develops and writes content for distributor and business unit advertising and promotion programs
  • Advises on effective marketing tactics related to company’s products; identifies and incorporates additional subject matter experts per product or topic during tactic execution

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Proven experience working with website content management systems to optimize content using both front end presentation and back end system functionality
  • At least three years proven experience acting as liaison with external distributors in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, advertising/public relations, communications, or a related field
  • Experience in global, B2B marketing, working with high-tech products/services, semiconductors preferred
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects, effectively manage priorities, and establish regular follow-ups to ensure project completion. Must have excellent project management skills
  • Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Software applications and the ability to quickly learn and use other software packages
  • Excellent written, verbal and collaboration skills
  • Reliable, with sharp attention to detail and deadlines
  • Self-starter, independent worker and willing team player
