At the Greenock semiconductor manufacturing site, we produce Bipolar, MOS, BiCMOS integrated Circuits. In addition to this, we are moving into the manufacture of discrete devices and developing new Power MOSFET technologies.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
Reporting to an Equipment Engineering Section Manager, the successful candidate is required to be technically competent and able to apply sound Engineering fundamentals to support Fab Semiconductor Equipment toolsets.
The engineer is also responsible for developing innovative solutions to complex process and equipment problems.
A successful candidate will work with colleagues from different departments for example, IT and Process Engineering and collaborate with them to help the site and achieve its goals.
A degree in an Engineering discipline is preferred, but we will consider applicants with HNC or equivalent relevant experience who are willing to work towards a degree.
