Distribution Sales Manager - Plano, TX

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Development and execution of strategies and programs at distribution headquarter and branch level to maximize sales revenue
  • Understand the account’s business strategy and identify and execute opportunities for Diodes Incorporated (Diodes) to succeed in these areas
  • Understand and develop both a formal and an informal hierarchy within the account to develop a strategic position within the account and develop Diodes' position at the account
  • Work with the regional sales team to develop products, brand awareness and Diodes' value proposition at both a corporate and local distribution branch level
  • Work with global marketing teams to introduce new products into the distribution channel
  • Development of the Diodes brand in new and emerging technologies and products
  • Completions of required tasks to ensure that all internal and account systems are updated in a timely and accurate manner including but not limited to reporting overall distribution sales revenue and new product sales performance
  • Gathering and communicating market/competitor information into the organization


Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  • Degree in engineering, business management or marketing  and a minimum 3 years’ experience in a B2B (business to business) environment
  • Good team worker capable of inspiring and developing enthusiasm in the group
  • Experience in development of on-line marketing campaigns
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel a must
  • Good analytical skills (mainly through use of Excel) and capability to analyze large amounts of data and report effectively on this to others
  • Strong communication skills
  • Self-driven, self-motivated with autonomous work-style
  • Accountable and objective/success driven
  • Strive for ownership and task conclusion
  • Some travel required for training and meetings with distributors, corporate and sales branches
