Analog Design Engineer - Plano, TX

Responsible for designing and developing cutting edge analog power management circuits. Job scope includes BCD process/ device feasibility, specification development, circuit design and layout, silicon evaluation, and smooth product release to market. This role works with customers, and the product marketing, applications engineering, and new product development teams.

 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

This position requires a talented and flexible individual with extensive analog and power circuit design skills to design, develop, and release analog power IC to market.  

This role is involved in all aspects of the new product development process from feasibility, through specification development, circuit design and layout, silicon evaluation, and to final product release

This position works closely with other functional disciplines such as marketing, test engineering, applications engineering, and new product development engineering to successfully bring new products to market.

This role is responsible for meeting design schedules, performance requirements, cost, and quality objectives concurrently.

This role provides support to internal and external customer to assist in design-in of the company’s products.

Able to travel occasionally as needed.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

MSEE or equivalent experience/skill level required.

At least 10 years of hands on analog design experience in a power management related field such as DC-DC converters, low drop-out regulators, or load switch.

 Proven track record of releasing products to market

1. Sound knowledge of thermal management

2. Excellent technical bench evaluation skills

3. Strong device physics background a plus

4. Excellent written and verbal communications skills; English proficiency a must
