Packaging Engineering Manager, Plano, TX

Diodes Incorporated is seeking a Packaging Engineering Manager for our corporate office located in Plano, Texas. Reporting directly to the VP to align all BUs to a company roadmap for packaging while interfacing with FA and Reliability across all factories.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage new packaging releases
• Able to work in a matrix organization where there are competing goals
• Must be able to lead a technical team to a goal that not all will necessarily agree to
• Proven experience successfully working in a demanding, high stress environment
• Travel to all of Diodes factory and subcon sites. 15-20% travel required
• Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• BSEE, Material Science, Mechanical Engineering, Physics or Chemistry required. MS a plus
• 10 – 15 years related experience
• Cu Wire bonding experience required
• Proven track record of cost reduction experience, BOM optimization required
